Who It’s For
This adjustable oak desk and chair set is designed for elementary and middle school students who need a natural wood writing surface rather than plastic or laminate. The desk adjusts from 670 mm to 790 mm, and the chair adjusts from 360 mm to 440 mm, covering multiple grade levels without replacing furniture every year. It suits classrooms, tutoring centers, and home learning spaces where parents and teachers want a warmer, more natural look than standard school furniture.
Where It’s Used
Ideal for elementary classrooms, tutoring rooms, home study areas, and small learning centers. The 600 × 400 mm desktop keeps the footprint compact enough for narrow aisles, while the 300 × 450 × 150 mm book box keeps textbooks and stationery off the floor. The chair’s smaller seat (360 × 380 mm) fits younger students who are not yet ready for full-size classroom chairs.
Materials
The desktop, seat, and backrest are made from 18 mm oak finger-joint board. Unlike melamine paper or PP plastic, oak finger-joint board has a visible natural grain and a warm, solid feel. It resists warping and daily wear, and it takes pencil marks and eraser residue without staining. The book box is 0.7 mm galvanized steel, stamped in a single mold, with a smooth surface and no sharp edges. The frame uses 20 × 40 × 1.2 mm and 30 × 50 × 1.2 mm oval steel tubes, with a 20 × 20 × 1.4 mm square tube for the backrest support. All steel parts are acid-washed, phosphated, and powder-coated.
Safety
All steel edges are acid-washed, phosphated, and powder-coated to remove sharp burrs. The oak finger-joint board is sanded smooth and sealed to prevent splinters. The book box has rounded edges and no exposed screws. Nylon foot pads keep the desk and chair stable on tile, wood, or vinyl floors.
Maintenance
Wipe the oak surfaces with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid soaking the wood or using abrasive cleaners. The steel frame and book box need no oiling or refinishing. Check nylon foot pads periodically for wear.
